In case you thought Luke Cage’s first official trailer, Iron Fist footage or Daredevil Season 3 news weren’t enough, prepare for The Defenders! Straight from Comic-Con 2016, the four Marvel Netflix heroes gather for a first teaser that confirms a familiar voice, and a Hand-y foe ahead.

Along with the flurry of new footage from Comic-Con 2016, Marvel released a first official teaser for the four-way team-up due in 2017, albeit one primarily consisting of Nirvana’s “Come As You Are” over some stylish logo placement. At the very least, Scott Glenn’s Stick will apparently take part, most likely to continue a major threat from “The Hand” introduced/identified in Daredevil Season 2.

Elsewhere of The Defenders, we know that Daredevil showrunners Doug Petrie and Marcos Siega will showrun the team-up miniseries, with filming expected to begin later this year. As Jon Bernthal’s Punisher wasn’t included among the logos, it remains unclear if the Netflix spinoff will feature any tie-in, though a sizzle reel with additional Luke Cage footage certainly suggests as much:

There’s plenty more to come from Marvel’s Defenders in the coming weeks and months, so watch the teaser again, and stay tuned!
