Two names familiar to IceMen fans will return to the team for the upcoming season.

In a press release distributed to the media, new IceMen head coach and Director of Hockey Operations, Dwight Mullins announces the organization have resigned defensemen Loren Barron and Donnie Harris for the coming 2014-15 season.

Barron, 25, played in 65 games for the team last season, scoring three goals while recording 15 assists for a total of 18 points. The 6’-1”, 179 pound blueliner played junior hockey for one season with the USHL Indiana Ice and four years of college hockey at Quinnipiac University (ECAC) before joining the IceMen.

Fort Ashby, West Virginia native Harris also is back as a part of Evansville’s defensive group after playing 50 games for the IceMen last year and 34 games during the 2012-13 season. The 6’-3”, 225 pound defenseman has scored 3 goals and 9 assists for 12 points in 84 games in Evansville. His previous hockey experience comes via the Pensacola Ice Flyers of the SPHL (2011-14) before turning pro and joining the Elmira Jackals of the ECHL in 2011 where he appeared in two games.
