With the 2014 season just over two months away, the IceMen add a veteran forward to help solidify the roster.

29-year-old Kevin Harvey joins the IceMen for his ninth season as a professional hockey player. Prior to joining the team, Harvey played in the Central Hockey League for both New Mexico and Rapid City, along with spending time with Syracuse and Springfield of the American Hockey League.

He also brings some international experience with him having played in Slovakia and England, the latter of which spent with the Coventry Blaze of the British Elite Hockey League.

IceMen coach, Dwight Mullins knows what he's getting with the Sheffield, Ontario, Canada native, having coached him during the 2012-2013 season Mullins was the head coach of the Elmira Jackals.

In a press release issued to the media Mullins said of the signing, “Kevin Harvey is highly competitive...He’s a great teammate and his enthusiasm and style of play will rub off on his teammates.”

The IceMen's season gets underway October 18th against the Gwinnett Gladiators inside the Ford Center. For season ticket information, call an IceMen Account Executive at (812) 421-GOAL (4625) visit their recently redesigned website.
