According to a press release from the Frontier League, Evansville Otters pitcher, Max Duval is heading west after being signed by the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Duval was the team's opening day starter, and pitched a total of 43 innings in seven games, recording an 4.39 ERA with 42 strikeouts.

The Otters are currently a half-game behind the West Division-leading Southern Illinois Miners, and will look to close the gap on the road this week with a three game series against Florence beginning with a double-header Wednesday evening. After that, they'll face those same Miners in a three-game series on the road.

They'll return home to Bosse Field beginning next Tuesday for a three game series against the Windy City Thunderbolts before hitting the road again to face the Lake Erie Crushers 4th of July weekend.

Tickets for any and all games are available in advance by calling 812-435-8686, or through the team's website. Tickets will also be available at the gate before each game.
