Evansville IceMen Announced Finalized Roster for Saturday’s Home Opener

The Evansville IceMen have released their finalized roster in advance of their home and season opener Saturday night when they host the Indy Fuel at The Ford Center.

Fans of the team will see a few familiar names on the list below along with several new additions who will be wearing the IceMen jersey for the first time.

According to a press release from the team to local media, of the 23 players on the roster, nine played at least one game for the IceMen last season. They are Mark Anthoine, Jarret Lukin, Justin MacDonald, Jordan Sims, Joe Zarbo, Spencer Humphries, Chris Rumble, Troy Rutkowski, and Scott Greenham.

Vincent Dunn, Justin MacDonald, Ryan Penny, Jordan Sims, Sebastian Strandberg, Joe Zarbo, Matthew Zay, Chris Carlisle, Chris Rumble, Keegan Asmundson, and Christoffer Bengtsberg are the 11 players are starting their rookie season, while Matt Hussey, Jarret Lukin, Jonathan Carlsson, and Benjamin Dieude-Fauvel are the only four veterans listed.

The puck drops on the 2015-16 season at 7:15pm Saturday night. Tickets are available at the Ford Center box office between 10am and 5pm Friday, and from Noon until game time on Saturday. Tickets are also available through Ticketmaster.
