Born in South St. Louis City, I love all things Cardinals. I attened my first game just a few weeks before my birth, at Busch II. As a young child, I fondly remember the excitement of the stadium as Ozzie Smith came to bat. Now I carry on that tradition in Busch III with my own kids who are also being raised to love the Redbirds.

Cardinals Nation Congratulates Cubs
The 2016 World Series games have come and gone, and boy were they epic! The announcer closed out the game announcing a statement which, admittedly, left me a little emotional. I had never heard this before, and legions of eternally optimistic Cubs fans had never heard: The Chicago Cubs have won the 2016 World Series...
Cards battle Giants on Star Trek Night
Space… The final frontier. These are the voyages of the starship Enterprise…
Star Trek is as important to me as St. Louis Cardinals baseball. This is our galaxy, just in the future. Heck, there’s even baseball in Star Trek, a recurring theme on Deep Space 9...
Are the St. Louis Cardinals A Lost Cause?
I get it. 105.3 FM ESPN Evansville broadcast the Cubs last year, and the fans in blue are, well, blue. I’ve heard the same song and dance my entire life: Maybe next year. Well, this is the year, right?! The Cards are sucking wind and the Cubs will go on and win it all this season...
Cards Take On Braves
The St. Louis Cardinals return to Busch Stadium, their first home stand since Sunday, July 24. Although the Cards have suffered a 5-5 record since then, it’s time to get serious as the season begins to wrap up, since we are now 2/3 of the way through the season...
Cards Acquire Southpaw Duke From Sox
Today is the trade deadline for the 2016 season, and the questions still abound. We know by now what the Cardinals need – depth in the pitching rotation. Sportscasters have brought up several times how unique the Cardinals 5-man rotation is to the game of pro baseball...
Redbird or Fredbird?
Yesterday, I had the pleasure of attending the Cardinals/Pirates game with 2 of my 3 children, my dad, brother, and nephew. Prior to the game, my 7-year-old son, attending his third Cardinals game at Busch Stadium, looked around the stadium from our seats and said, “Where is Redbird...
Cardinals Sweep Cubs At Wrigley
Victory is sweet – especially when it involves taking down the Cubs and their raucous fans in the Windy City. This last week has been rough as a Cards fan. The Redbirds were riding high after winning every series since we last played the Cubs back on May 24 (in a 2-game series sweep)...
Cardinals Care About More Than Just Baseball
By show of hands, who really cares about my personal life? Since I see no hands raised, I will assume the worst but I’ll tell you anyway.
Cardinals, Holliday Swing For The Fences
In case you missed it, watch this video from the Monday, May 30 game at Miller Park.
Cardinals Getting Offense From Entire Lineup
The Cardinals have had several high scoring games this season, which led me to research how unusual this is. Most fans may not realize at just 41 games into the 2016 season, but the Cardinals bats have been incredible! As a team, the Cards have hit 55 home runs so far (tied for 4th in the Majors), an average of 1...
